A 50-year-old resident in El Morche (Torrox) was arrested after attacking two municipal policemen who were attempting to have his badly parked car towed. In fact there were two cars, both of which belonged to the arrested man.

The Salobreña Town Hall has lodged a formal complaint before the Guardia Civil over acts of vandalism carried out against the municipal sports stadium, Los Trances. The damage was caused last night; i.e., the night of Monday the 17th.

The police managed to intercept a car that had already driven 23 KM down the wrong side of a motorway in Murcia: strangely, it was a British driver. The police arrested the 69-year-old man, who resides in Cantoria, Almería, for dangerous driving.
