The police managed to intercept a car that had already driven 23 KM down the wrong side of a motorway in Murcia: strangely, it was a British driver. The police arrested the 69-year-old man, who resides in Cantoria, Almería, for dangerous driving.

The Guardia Civil were alerted by a 112 call from an alarmed driver around midnight, so they shot out to intercept him before he ‘intercepted’ somebody coming in the opposite direction.

But you don’t have to be a Brit baffled by driving on the right, because on the 1st of January a 57-year-old Spaniard collided with other vehicles during his jaunt a-la-inglesa.
