The Provincial Work Inspectors have issued a report citing possible ‘irregularities’ at the Nerja Town Hall.

What seems to have caught their eye are the temporary work contracts where, according to the inspectors, the Town Hall has used a double pay scale for workers carrying out the same task.

The Mayor, José Alberto Armijo (PP), on the other hand, has defended the legitimacy of those contracts in question.

It goes without saying that the opposition parties, the PSOE and IU, are chuffed to bits as well as ostentatiously outraged by the alleged misdoings.
