The public-health systems (each region has its own) appear to be falling down on providing GP coverage without having to wait.

Fatal Diagnostic Error

It took ten hours for two, public medical facilities in; a centro médico and a hospital, to arrive at the correct diagnosis. The delay proved fatal for the patient.

Doctors on Strike

Doctors in Spain went on strike yesterday and will keep it up until including the 12th, demanding their own Framework Statute, looking to improve their working conditions, amongst othe things.

Why?

A mother, with her two toddlers in her arms, jumped from a 10-storey window. The impact killed her but the children survived the fall although both very badly injured.
