Calle El Barrio Facelift

The Councillor for Infrastructure, Antonio García, has announced that the Town Council has approved a project to do up Calle El Barrio, connecting Calle Castilla Pérez and Antonio Millón. The 275,000 budget will come from the Provincial Council

Dog Attack

An Alsatian dog attacked two women out walking a dog in the industrial estate area of Vélez-Málaga. One woman had her hand badly bitten whilst the other had to be treated for shock after her dog was killed. Both women were treated at the Hospital Comarcal de la Axarquía.

Law-Court Project On Hold

Bilingual Schools for Nerja?

The Councillor for Education, Gema García, has urged the Junta de Andalucia to take the necessary steps so that the junior schools in Nerja become bilingual centres, as are the schools in neighbouring towns.

Barrier in Place

The Nerja Councillor for the Environment, Nieves Atencia, has informed the Junta de Andalucía that the barrier to stop access for vehicles to Río Chillar (Los Cahorros) has been installed.
