The Nerja Councillor for Infrastructure, Antonio García, issued a press release to say that work on the connecting street between Calle El Barrio and Avenida Castilla Pérez will begin during the last week of February.

Transportes Antelo has been awarded the contract, which has a budget of 280,000 euros,

This second section of the street will be identical to the first half, which has already been renovated and the new work should be finished in a space of less than four months, meaning that it should be finished in time for summer.

Councillor Antonio García also pointed out that the project also includes revamping the rain drainage, water mains and sewer system.
