Well, we haven’t published one of these for a while, but the BBC is talking of a blistering heatwave in Spain, but in the province of Granada it is not so bad.

Now you can notice the difference between the Costa Tropical and the Valle de Lecrín, if you compare Motril to Dúrcal, because inland it is one or two degrees, max, hotter (but without the humidity of the coast) during the day, yet Dúrcal is consistently lower than Motril at night… and again without humidity.

Obviously, the best temperatures are enjoyed in Trevélez where night temperatures swing between 17ºC/18ºC and daytime temperatures are equal to a late spring days of 25ºC/26ºC on the coast.
