At last, the hotter weather seems to be behind us. Whilst down on the coast maximums will be in the high 20s, the nighttime minimums in Salobreña will range between 21ºC and 17ºC. Motril and Almuñécar follow this nighttime trend, too
August closes with a mixed bag of weather, whilst rain fell on the coast at the beginning of the week, inland apart from cloudy skies, it remained dry with mild temperatures.
You will have noticed that temperatures have cooled a little, especially at night, with temperatures in the low 20s on the coast and middle-to-high teens inland in the Valle de Lecrín (Dúrcal) and the Alpujarra (Lanjarón).
The hotter weather is returning. However, whilst we might bemoan the temperatures on the coast, in the city of Granada it will be in the low 40s and around 23ºC at night.
