The number of municipalities that have reported cases has increased from 96 to 119. All those that have had zero cases in the last 14 days have been omitted from below.
What has been included in this week’s Covid report is the number of cases during the last week, as well as during the last fortnight. This should give a better indication of how rapidly cases are increasing.
Almuñécar had 138 cases in the last fortnight, 72 of which were in the space of only one week, giving this municipality a per 100k rate of 532.3.
Salobreña had 89 cases in a fortnight and 45 of which belong the last seven days, giving the town a per 100k figure of 711.3.
As for Motril, they have had 198 cases in a fortnight and 129 in seven days, giving Motril a per 100k contagion rate of 338.7. In other words, the vast majority was in the last seven days.
Finally, as for the whole province, there have been 3,149 cases in a fortnight and 2,072 in the last seven days; in other words almost two thirds of the cases have been in the last week.The per-100k ratio of 342.6.
