Snow at Last!

The Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (AEMET) has raised the alert level to Level Orange for today and tomorrow owing to the snow forecast.

Well, all the signs are out there that summer is drawing to a close – the latest is a snowfall on the Sierra Nevada.

The State Meteorological Agency has announced an Orange-Level warning for the province today with snow inland and storms along the coast.

If you are thinking of taking the old road to Granada via Otivar then be warned that you will need snow chains up there, once you’re on the plateau.
