Winter is on its way, as if the clock-change weren't indication enough, because whilst snow fell on the Sierra Nevada, Motril was treated to a hail storm.
No doubt this phenomenon was also present further along the coast, as well. Temperatures have dropped so that we can almost wave goodbye to the blessed mosquitoes in the evening.
Temperatures on the coast this morning were around 13ºC whilst in the lower Alpujarra and the Valle de Lecrín they were down to around 5ºC, whilst midday temperatures will be 20ºC or just below on the coast and around 15ºC inland. Temperatures will climb a bit towards the weekend, but not much.
As for rain, there will be intermittent rainfall until Thursday evening with no rain on Friday.
