Ten Pigs in a Van

The Guardia Civil in Sevilla arrested a Romanian with ten stolen pigs in his van; he allegedly stole them from a pig farm. Well, he wouldn’t steal them from a poultry farm, would he… Just saying.

Suitcase Passenger

A Moroccan Man and a Spanish woman were arrested after hiding a 13-year-old girl in a suitcase of 70cm x 50cm, amongst their car luggage. The couple were had arrived in Spain via the Melilla-Málaga ferry.

The police managed to intercept a car that had already driven 23 KM down the wrong side of a motorway in Murcia: strangely, it was a British driver. The police arrested the 69-year-old man, who resides in Cantoria, Almería, for dangerous driving.

AECC 5K Charity Walk

What an effort by all the participants, with temperatures well into the 30’s, over 60 people did the walk with just about all of them donning a decorated bra, and all of the AECC (Cancer) charity!

The Minister for the Economy and Industry at the Junta de Andalucia, Antonio Ávila, expressed his frustration at plans to allow fracking in Spain to go ahead. He had called for a moratorium whilst the concept and it consequences were studied more closely.
