Violent Women

The Policía Nacional in Granada arrested two women, aged 20 and 21, neither with police records, for glassing another girl. To glass means to attack with a broken glass, normally, but not always, to the face.

The attack happened as the two girls were leaving a discotheque at 07.00h, Sunday the 15th. Not content with severing the tendons in the arm of a girl, the assailant also had a go at a policeman. Fortunately, the only damage sustained by the policeman was to his equipment, with damaged valued at 200 euros.

In a separate incident, but this time in Sevilla, a young woman stabbed her boyfriend in their apartment in the south of the city. This occurred on the Friday before the Granada incident.

It’s not not known how the argument began, but it ended with the young man hospitalized in a serious condition.
