No-Appointment Jabs Available

The Southern Granada Health Board will be carrying out a vaccination campaign this week and the next at the medical centres of several municipalities; no prior appointment is required.

SPN-Covid-Jabs-VaccinationMotril was the first with people receiving their jabs between 10.30h and 12.00h but don’t worry if you missed it as they will return. Tomorrow it is the turn of eastern Costa Tropical, Albuñol between 12.00h and 14.00h and the Alpujarra, Cádiar between 12.00h and 13.00h.

On Friday it will be Castell de Ferro’s turn (09.00h 13.30h, Almuñécar’s between 12.00h and 13.00h and Motril again between 10.00h and 13.00h.

Next week the mobile vaccination units will visit Motril at the San Antonio Medical Centre on Thursday the 21st between 11.00h and 12.30h and Salobrena at the medical centre that same day between 11.30h and 13.30h.

Inland in Órgiva on the 19th and 21st between 09.00h and 13.30h both days. Ugíjar will also get a visit on the 19th between 08.00h and 12.30h.

Parallel with these no-appointment vaccination visits, you can request an appointment via the webpage ClicSalud+, the phone app Salud Responde or at your local medical centre.

All age groups are included and people will be vaccinated in the order that they arrive, bringing with them their Andalusia health card.

In the province of Granada since Covid began in 2020, the health authorities have administered 2,024,707 doses. A total of 834.231 people have received at least one dose and 815,080 completed the double-dose, of whom 486.826 have received the third jab.

    Vivienne can you send me a link in Spanish press as I can’t find anything that says we can have a 4th dose unless aged over 80 or very debilitated. I spoke to someone just now at salud responde and she was adamant that they aren’t doing 4th dose yet.
