There have been fines handed out, left, right and centre, on Playa Granada in Motril over parking, as was the case last year and will be probably the next.
The Town Hall has tried to arrange extra parking but when the population doubles or even triples with the onslaught of inland visitors seeking a day on the beach, there is never enough parking for everybody, so people park where they shouldn’t.
Anybody that parked on the gravel/dirt lane between the beach and the official parking area received a visiting gift from the Policía Local, which will set these tourists back 100 euros.

Shame about the 30 odd spaces taken away by the two new builds at the far end of the car parking area.
Someone did ok out of it though.
Shares anyone. !!??
