Talking of fiascos, what about the monstrosity just below Urb. El Gallo on Punta de la Mona? You know; that apart-hotel scheme, built smack in the middle of a barranco, which allegedly caused the back road down to Hotel Alcazar to completely collapse and the main road down through the Punta to partially collapse?
Drowned Angler

The major but very sad news this month is the death of an angler on the Punta de la Mona. The 29-year-old man, Carlos P.A., had stripped and jumped into the sea and it is reported that a wave threw him against the rocks, causing him to drown.
