A holidaymaker from Cordoba literally bumped into a package of hashish whilst out swimming off Punta de la Mona, La Herradura. The drugs; 40 kg of hashish pellets, were wrapped in raffia sacking.
The swimmer alerted the Guardia Civil via 062 and a patrol vehicle was dispatched from Almunecar.
And that’s about it.
