13th Annual Puppet Festival

The annual puppet-theatre festival began in La Herradura last night, beginning at 22.00h in the Plaza Nueva. The opening performance of the XIII Festival deTiteres was Tutancarton-Peneque el Valiente, written by Miguel Pino.
Professional Diver Course Concludes

There were 60 applicants for the 15-place, professional-diver course in La Herradura, so if for no other reason, it was a success. It was the first such course to be held on the Costa Tropical.

Blue Zone Changes in Almunecar

We managed to collar Francisco Prados, who is the leader of the local PSOE and opposition leader, concerning the Blue Zones in Almunecar. He confirmed that in the first Plenary meeting of the Town Council it was agreed to reduce the Blue Zone timetables, although not as much as his party had proposed.
