Underwater Welding Course

Another item of news concerning divers is the initiation of the first professional divers course in the province at the Centro de Buceo de La Herradura, giving diplomas to the students to work in underwater construction, welding and salvage operations, etc.

Herradura Romeria 2011

In over thirty years on this part of the coast, I have never seen so many people turn out for a La Herradura Romeria, which this year was held in the grounds of the restored castle (tower). The village was alive with colour, horses, gypsy dresses and humming with the ‘alegria’ that has been missing…
