The Guardia Civil moved in on a private club in Almuñécar dedicated to smoking hashish, which is not illegal, however allegedly using the premises to sell drugs is.
Police operation HEMP25 resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old man, accused of an offence against public health for drug trafficking.

The investigation and raid were carried out by officers belonging to the ROCA Team of the based in Motril. The investigation began when the existence of illicit activities in an establishment operating under the guise of a private club intended for cannabis consumption came to their attention.
After gathering evidence of illegal activity, they obtained a search warrant from the judge of the premises.
Officers confiscated a significant amount of narcotic substances and material related to their distribution: 2,134 grams of marijuana buds, 8,636 grams of shredded marijuana, 1,018 grams of hashish, 1,240 grams of hashish oil, 232 grams of hashish pellets, 1,750 grams of shredded tobacco, and 402 grams of marijuana seeds.
Editorial comment: completely legalise hash and get it over with, which will save some time for the police to go after, instead, dangerous crimes.
