The Policía Local in Motril broke up a beach, bottle party in the parking area near the Villa Astrida estate on Playa Granada.

The police patrol located the group, which wasn’t hard and told them all to pack up and move on, but not before fining a couple of them over the botellón and for having drugs on them – see photo.

The police will continue to keep an eye out for people holding illegal bottle parties on public property and remind us that those that do mount one will be fined.

Editorial comment: ah but it’s summer and if you can’t get stoned & laid on a beach in the middle of the night then what is the point of being young, seriously.

Now if they cleaned up behind them, rather than just cleaning out supermarkets of their booze stocks…
