Playa de Poniente, Motril, is set to see what is claimed to be the first pan-Costa Tropical gastronomic fair with participants from Almunecar, Salobrena and Motril

The event begins this Thursday, the 21st and runs the whole weekend, ending on the 24th. The actual location is on Playa de Poniente in the parking area in front of the camp site, where a marquee will be erected. The opening times are from 12pm to 5pm and then from 8pm to midnight.

Those participating are Almunecar’s Restaurante Reina Sofia, Salobrena’s El Asado and Motril’s El Barco de la Pescadora and Katena, to name a few. Also participating is Ron Montero and Cerveza Alhambra.

It is hoped that the event will attract visitors from as far afield as La Herradura and Castell de Ferro.
