Peña Parda Problems

The Almuñécar branch of the PSOE socialist party is calling on the ruling party to sort out the access problems for the residents of Peña Parda in La Herradura.

Almuñécar Fire was Arson

It appears that somebody deliberately put the lives of 150 block residents at risk when they decided to torch the underground car park. Although the flames did not reach the apartments above, the thick toxic smoke did, forcing their evacuation.

Telefonica Abuse?

Telefónica phone abuse? We have been hearing stories of foreign residents here with Telefónica phone connections that have noticed high charges being made on their bills when they are not even in the country and no one is using the house!

Sports Hall Controversy

The La Herradura residents association to trying it’s hardest to prevent the demolition of the town sports hall, and have started a campaign to that effect to try and defend the legality of the building, which the Junta, in the form of the Prosecutor’s Office, has said is illegal, and that the land should be returned to its original state.

Consulate Open Day

The British Consulate in Málaga and the Pension, Benefit and Healthcare Team are holding an open event in Nerja. It will take place on Wednesday, May 19th and offer advice on some of the issues that matter most to British residents.
