(DN) The British Consulate in Málaga and the Pension, Benefit and Healthcare Team are holding an open event in Nerja. It will take place on Wednesday, May 19th and offer advice on some of the issues that matter most to British residents. The Pension, Benefit and Healthcare Team will provide essential information on British residents’ entitlements in Spain and the services that their team can offer. British Vice-Consul, Dominic Jackson, will open the session and explain the role of the consulate, which has initiated the new services.
The Open Day will be held at the Centro Cultural, Calle Granada, 45, Nerja at 11:30am (doors open at 11am). The Consulate had planned to do this last year – but at the very last minute, with breathtaking arrogance, decided to cancel because, “The number of people registered did not warrant taking the staff away from the office.” Not that (of course) they gave any indication as to precisely what attendance might be required to get our Civil Servants out from behind their desks.
