Hundreds of residents and tourist alike witnessed Santa’s Float parading through the streets of Nerja on Sunday the 23rd.

The sleigh or float, set out from the Town Hall, thrilling kiddies along the way. And Nerja is almost unique as far as this type of Santa event goes in Spain fortunately, the Three Kings is still “king,” some consider, who resent the loss of traditional Christmas time values in the face of the onslaught of Anglo-Saxon marketing.

As with the Three Kings parade on the 5th, thousands of sweets are thrown to the children that line the streets, much to the joy of the tiny ones and not-so-tiny, sweet toothed.
