Nope! This has nothing to do with sharing a taxi, but with joints as in ‘spliffs.’ The Police came across three taxi drivers, waiting for clients, smoking away on a marihuana joint next to Malaga train station… they were impressed!

The next article is from the Malaga area and concerns a 31-year-old, Paraguayan woman who has been sentenced to two years’ imprisonment for the 2nd-degree murder of her baby that she gave birth to on a toilet.

Useless Neighbours

A Pharmacy has been held up for the second time, which is rather surprising seeing as it is right in front of the Malaga police station – the first occasion was in 2009.

British Consulate Road Show

The British Consulate in Malaga is holding an informative road show event for British residents in Spain. The event will be taking place on 15th June in the Casa de la Cultura in Alhaurin el Grande, Malaga, and is open to all.

Loud Mouth

Thanks to the tendency of a criminal to boast of his exploits, an off-duty policeman was able to tip his colleagues off that a young male passenger on the same bus that he was travelling on was crowing about how he had stabbed and killed somebody.

Human, all too Human

A part-time Malaga policeman was killed in a shootout with a SWAT team when they tried to arrest him on suspicion of a kidnap attempt of a local bank manager.

British Consulate, Malaga

The British Consulate in Malaga is holding their first ever evening road show. The event will take place in Benalmádena, Málaga, and will offer advice on issues relating to British people living and working in Spain.

Around 100 British families are taking a Spanish real-estate developer, as well as three ex-agents of a British agency, to court after having paid out in total over 4.5m euros for second homes in Estepona; homes that were never built.

Cyclist Hit Twice

In Málaga, a 50-year-old Romanian cyclist was peacefully riding his bike in the new bike lane when a red Seat Leon, driven by a youth, collided with him knocking him to the ground.
