The bodies of a Guardia Civil officer, his wife and son were found in their married quarters in the town of Dolores yesterday.

First indications, which have not been confirmed yet, are that these deaths might have been the result of domestic violence.

It is thought that the officer shot and killed his wife and son and then turned the gun upon himself – the officer had single shot wound to the head

We know that the officer was 55-years old and on the point of being transferred to the reserves. We also know that the son was 20-years old.

There had been no previous incidents of domestic violence reported and the murders are under investigation by the Women and Minors Unit (EMUME) of the Guardia Civil .

Editorial comment: what I don’t understand about these bastards are, if they are going to shoot themselves, then do themselves first.
