Now it wasn't just another earth tremor, of which there have been a couple or more recently, but the arrival of 800 bikers in Almuñécar.

They were the participants in the XIII Punta a Punta 2026, which had been organised by the BMW Motorrad España and which involved a route covering some 1,400 kilometres. It is, in fact, one of the biggest biker meets in Spain.

This army of bikers had set off from Estepona and had done a ‘pit stop’ in Almuñécar, where they took hostages, hanged the mayor and played bingo… Then again, I might be lying on those details, but they definitely visited the town.

As for their complete route, which ran from the 13th to the 16th of this month, it included, Granada, Albacete and Gandía, for example.
