Well, the mag is at the printer so it should be out by the 31st, if not the 1st, and distribution will begin.
I thought it a good point to explain how the online layout is divided in the Granada Inland section. The best way is with a map of the provinces Comarcas.
Some are self explanatory, such as Alpujarras, Lecrín Valley and Sierra Nevada, but in the case of Vega, Poniente and Altiplano, it’s not so simple as some Comarcas are doubled up:
Altiplano consists of the Comarcas de Baza and Huescar, right up there in North-East Granada, or the ‘pan handle,’ so to speak. The province as a slightly similar shape to the Island of Cyprus, after all.
Poniente (Western Granada, literally meaning “where the sun sets”) consists of Loja and Alhama de Granada.
Vega is all the metropolitan area that surrounds the city of Granada, reaching down to the Lecrín Valley in the South, Los Montes in the North, Guadix in the East and Loja in the Poniente in the West.
The only double section that contains two Comarcas but no single name is Guadix-Los Montes.
Although the Comarca de Costa Tropical is divided up into the main towns, little by little we are adding more villages, if they are generating news, such as Torrenueva Costa and Vélez de Benaudalla. Another thing we hope to add, when there is time, is a section just for Granada Airport.
