Somebody has lost a wedding ring in La Herradura and the person who found it is trying to locate the owner in order to return it.
The story was first covered by journalist, Isabel Morillo who explained that the ring has a woman’s name engraved within; María José, which unfortunately does not narrow it down much as it is a very popular name.
It was Isabel who came across the ring on holiday in La Herradura whilst walking along the beach. She explained that she was spending the weekend there with friends when one of them noticed something shiny amongst the fine shale and pebbles.
Although the first names of the owner were made known, the date inscription was not, so that if somebody comes forward, they will be asked that.
Hopefully, the ring will have been returned to its rightful owner (for his own sake!) before you read this, as it went viral on Twitter. We say the owner is a male because of the size of its diametre.

Jennie: I have removed one of the names and the date because otherwise anybody could turn up at the Police Lost Property, and supply the names and date and then you really have lost it.
