The Almuñécar Policía Local arrested two men after being called out to a fight that had broken out in a nightlife area.

These officers were backed by the Guardia Civil, who once the participants had been identified, ran their details through their computer and found that one of them had a court summons out on him.

Another participant offered his foreign driver’s licence as ID, which turned out to be a forgery and upon being rumbled, attempted to flee the scene but did not get far.

He was arrested as well and charged with forgery, identity theft and resisting arrest. This 30-year-old man with Dominican-Republic nationality, had failed to report to prison on two instances to commence a jail sentences.
