(News: Costa Tropical)

I understand being young we were all there at one time but that is no excuse for the adults who ignore people in crosswalks because they are distracted or just think all this doesn’t apply to them. If we didn’t have street cleaners and sweepers Almunecar would simply be a trash pit. It seems to be an effort for anyone to walk a few feet to a trash depository. And we all know that when the tourists and summer home owners are here our lovely city becomes a French depository for dog excrement and urine. It doesn’t take a huge effort to pick this up, carry a bottle of vinegar and water. Martin just because this has always been, does not mean it should continue
Tomm: whilst I agree with the general sentiment of your comment, it is worth noting that in the hot, summer months, young people don’t go out in the evening until past midnight (dinner at home is after 10pm and lasts at least an hour) and they’re not home again until almost dawn or just after; i.e., around six in the morning.
That’s the way it is and that’s the way it was when I was a kid in my 20s here. The afternoons are for sleeping and the nights and early morning are for living. 😉
We have been living in Almunecar for a number of years and the disrespect of our town persists. I understand people have summer homes here but to ignore our citizens in crosswalks, speeding down our streets, riding loud motorcycles along the playa at five am is just plain disrespectful. Now where are the policia?
