Camino de Minasierra in Motril

The Secretary General for the Motril branch of the PSOE (also ex mayor) Flor Almón, wants the lane between Camino de Minasierra and the Rambla de Cañizares sorted.

MOT Camino de MinasierraIn fact, she is going to take this proposal before the next Plenary Meeting of the Town Council as she considers that it’s one of the most used country lanes both by people who live along this lane, as well as those who go out walking, jogging or cycling.

It is a good, brisk, morning walk if you are up for it because you just follow it until you come to a T-junction and then turn left, which will eventually bring yout to the Calle Madrid/Calle París junction – you take the former, completing a circuitous route.

Sra. Almón would also like to see an improvement to the junctions with the A-44, the N-323 and the N-340 and seeing as such a task is a major one, it could be done in stages.

She says that her party had been approached by many residents of Motril asking for precisely this because of the present deteriorate state of the lanes.

Editorial comment: it’s funny how politicians only remember these outstanding tasks once they have left office and are in the opposition from which position such suggestions can be made without worrying about the budget.
