The passage of the Almuñécar PGOU is going anything but smoothly, which is why, perhaps, the period for viewing has been extended to the 3rd of January.
The Councillor for Urban Development, Javier García, explained that this extension was “because doubts have been arising amongst residents and associations” so the Town Council would like to be able to clear as many as possible up in the coming days.
Councillor García also explained that they would give two talks, open to all, in La Herradura and in Almuñécar with the aim to answering any questions that those attending might have.
The first of these will be on the 25th in the Casa de la Cultura in Almuñécar and then on the 27th in the Centro Cívico in La Herradura. Both will begin at 19.30h. The Mayor will accompany the Councillor for Urban Development in both meetings.
Finally, the Councillor explained that another reason for extending the public exposition of the PGOU over Christmas was because many people who have holidays homes in the municipality will be in town and thus able to examine the document.
