A mechanical fault caused a car on the A-44 to catch fire, requiring the presence of the fire service and Guardia Civil traffic police.
The accident took place yesterday morning near the Dúrcal-Nigüelas junction on the northbound lane. Nobody was hurt.
Although the lanes were only closed for two minutes, the delay caused a 1-km tailback.
