This Puntalón road in Motril will have a third lane added, leading up to the new autovia connection.
According to the Mayor, García Chamorro, 146,000 euros will to be spent in order to carry out the task.
The autovía junction will give access to Motril Port (East), as well as connecting it to Motril via the Puntalón.
The third lane along the Camino de las Ventillas will run more or less from the municipal tanatorio (morgue) to the Puntalón roundabout, officially known as Calle Tegucigalpa at the entrance of the Vadillo Trading Estate.
The Minister of Formento in Madrid promised that the A-7 connection for the Port would be ready for March, so it is hoped that the Camino de las Ventillas work will be concluded before then.
(News: Motril, Costa Tropical, Granada, Andalucia)

The Minister of Formento in Madrid promised that the A-7 connection for the Port would be ready for March… having heard these promises before regarding the local motorway (autopista) connection to herradura etc. – still waiting.
It appears the Minister failed to announce which year it will be finished, after reading your report.
Also I would point out that the new 3-lane Motril connection will have a “dead end” (the morgue)… so it´s going nowhere.
