The body found floating off El Pozuelo Beach in Albuñol belonged to a man reported missing in Ceuta, North Africa.

Laarbi Hossain, 38, disappeared on the 28th of December whilst diving just off the Spanish, North-African enclave, Ceuta. The family reported him missing the next day, explaining that he had been practicing underwater harpoon fishing from his small boat.

The Guardia Civil stationed on that side of the Mediterranean had begun an air & sea search for the missing man, even looking  along the coast of Morocco, but to no avail.

The body appeared off El Pozuelo on the 10th of January, dressed in a neoprene trousers and a life jacket. His wife explained how he usually tied a rope to the boat when he dived, wearing an inflatable life vest.
