Copper Wire Thieves Brought to Justice

A Motril law court has found a Salobreña man guilty of receiving and selling on stolen goods; namely copper wiring from municipal lighting installations. The accused man, J.R.J., was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment and was ordered to pay the court costs.

Caught Red handed

The Nerja Policía Local came upon two men as they staggered under the weight of steel piping which they were allegedly attempting to steal.

On average, ten smart phones are stolen every day in the city of Granada. The Policia Nacional arrested 52 people there during the first three months of the year for mobile thefts.

Wonky Policemen Jailed

A policeman was sentenced to 17-years imprisonment for the theft of 138k of drugs from the main police station in Sevilla. He was not alone in the theft as his accomplice, sentenced to 15 years, was tasked with substituting the stolen drug with plaster and chocolate powder.

Teenage Torment

Three 14-year-old girls have been charged with extortion, harassment and theft – their alleged victim was a 12-year-old girl.
The three ‘bullies’ decided to skip classes at their secondary school in Guadix and use this acquired ‘free time’ to torment the younger girl after tricking her into accompanying them to an abandoned house. They told her that it would be fun, but it turned out to be hell.
