There seems to be a growing trend of interrupting religious services at churches and what follows is just one more case of this. A man stripped off his clothes at the altar and launched a tirade of invectives against the congregation.

Paseo del Altillo Leaks

There appears to be a problem with the waterproofing of the Paseo del Altillo, which is letting water filter through into the bars on the lower paseo. Unfortunately, this is not a recent occurrence as since the paseo was finished in 2006, some of these businesses have been dogged by damp.

General Strike: Mixed Results

School Violence

Teachers and parents turned out in the Plaza de la Constitución (town hall) to express their indignation following an attack on a school teacher at the new P-4 school (IES Puerta del Mar) by one of her girl pupils.

The title is a wonderful Spanish term, probably just coined by a word wizard, to describe what happened in the Avenida de Salobreña during the early hours of yesterday, when a car landed in one of the large, plate-like fountains. The fountain is round and large, like a paella dish, so it wasn’t long before it acquired the local nickname of ‘la paellera.’
