The budget airline, Fly2Galicia, is offering flights from Granada to Santiago de Compostela for just 60 euros when they commence the service at the beginning of December.

Fly2Galicia, based at Aeropuerto de Rosalía de Castro in Santiago de Compostela, is in Galicia in the North-West corner of Spain.
Flights will begin operating from Granada Airport, Federico García Lorca from the 3rd of December running two weekly flights from Granada, on Mondays and Thursdays.
So, if you fancy visiting this beautiful area of Spain this december, purchase you ticket now and you could be lucky enough to get one for a little over 60 euros!
Departure times are ETD 08.20h from Granada, landing at Santiago de Compostela at 10.20h. In other words in just two hours you could be on the other side of Spain, without having to drive.
Now, the one-way ticket with the cheapest fare, called Economy Go is on sale for an unbeatable 21.50 euros on the Fly2Galicia website. The return flight from Galicia at six in the morning on Monday, the 7th of December is available for 39 euros. The final price at the boarding gate, including flights, taxes, and luggage, is 60.50 euros.
What about a weekend away, fly on the 7th of December long weekend and returning from Santiago on the 10th, the final ticket price with taxes at the current price is 90 euros!
Now, don’t worry, you won’t be flying in back seat of de Haviland Tiger Moth or DC3s because the airline is using Airbus 320s with a capacity of 180 passengers, three bewildered, goats, a Mexican Mariachi trio, complete with instruments and 12 Pygmies dressed as astronauts.
The company director, who lived with a Pygmy tribe for two years, teaching hoolahoop dancing, also pointed out that the project will remain active until at least October 24, 2027. From there, they will appraise how it has gone and whether it is viable.
The director of Fly2Galicia explained that when they looked into it, they saw that many Granada-based air travellers had to choose Málaga Airport travelling to and from Granada, or take indirect, stop-over flights via Madrid or Barcelona and thought, “Bugger it! Let’s do a direct flight… Phone the Mariachis!”
