
There is some street work going on behind the main-road gasoline station in Almuñécar in front of the Centro Infantil Reina Sofía.

This time it is the Granada city fire service that is not happy because the new buses have been blocking the fire station exit.
The Almuñécar PA opposition party and the PP governing party are at loggerheads over whether the old medical centre site should be for an old-persons’ day centre or a fire station.
It would appear that Almuñécar will actually have a fire station during the course next year – election year!
The Nerja Councillor for Infrastructure, Antonio García, stated that in the project for the access lane to the future, Nerja fire station has been assigned with a budget of 122,000, and is work is to begin towards the end of the month.
