Granada Bus-Service Problems Continue

This time it is the Granada city fire service that is not happy, because the new buses have been blocking the fire station exit.

This controversial, new metropolitan bus service is not everybody’s cup of tea and even taking into account that any new system has its teething problems, the new service is becoming deeply unpopular… even though it has been free up to now!

The real problem, however, behind the buses blocking the entrance to the fire station on Calle Antonio Dalmases was a badly parked car, forcing the bus to double park and thus not leaving sufficient space for the fire engines to get in or out.

We have already seen that in order to keep the buses running to schedule, crossing times on pelican crossings have been cut.

In the meantime, the free promotion period has ended and bus passengers now have to pay for their bus journeys – let’s see how this develops.
