Mooning the Green Meanies

A court in Jaén has sentenced a man to a 6-month, suspended sentence for mooning two Guardia Civil policemen and then resisting arrest. Mooning, for those of you whose first language is not English, means to take your trousers down and display your buttocks in the direction of somebody. British Consulate Road Show

The British Consulate in Malaga is holding an informative road show event for British residents in Spain. The event will be taking place on 15th June in the Casa de la Cultura in Alhaurin el Grande, Malaga, and is open to all.

Spanish Politics

The local and regional elections dealt a severe blow to the Central Government; indeed to the whole of the PSOE on a national level. Although Andalucía didn’t hold regional elections, unlike the majority of Spanish autonomous regions, the damage was still keenly felt because over a thousand town halls in Andalucía, as well as provincial councils, participated and were royally smitten.
