The Guardia Civil arrested a Policia Local officer in Alicante for allegedly placing a tracking device on the car of his ex-partner, with whom he has a young daughter.
The suspect, who divorced his Ex six years ago, reportedly installed a GPS tracker on her car without her consent.

However this device was found and removed… so he allegedly installed another two weeks later on the 23rd of this month.
During his visiting rights with his daughter, the officer also allegedly subjected the child to insults, harassment, and degrading language, and reportedly threw objects at her, including a phone charger.
As a result, he is being charged on three counts: domestic & gender-based violence (specifically stalking/harassment), invasion of privacy, and habitual mistreatment.
In the meantime, the court has issued a restraining order against the suspect, prohibiting him from coming within 300 meters of his ex-partner and daughte,r or any location that they frequent, as well as banning all communication with them. If the order is violated, the court will order his immediate imprisonment.
