A fireman lost his life in a hotel blaze in Barcelona last Sunday, according to the Bomber-de-la-Generalitat Twitter account. Yes, it's bloody Twitter despite what Musk dreams up.
The fire service was called out to a hotel on the Paseo Marítim in the Santa Susanna Quarter of Barcelona at 19.29h on Sunday the 25th.

Eight fire-fighting units responded to the call on the first floor of the hotel, which had some 250 guests, who had already been evacuated.
Although the fire was almost out, one of the 3-man team that had entered the building emitted a Código Rojo (firefighter missing). They located the missing fireman and quickly got him out where they initiated CPR on the street but to no avail.
The Dirección General de Prevención, Extinción de Incendios y Salvamentos (DGPEIS) has opened an investigation into the death.
