Although tomorrow is the 1st of June, and despite the high temperatures, summer doesn't begin until San Juan on the 23rd of June; the shortest night of the year.
And with the arrival of Summer comes the widely considered pests of the season; jet skis. In fact, across the provincial border in Málaga, there have already been half a dozen complaints about jet skis in bathing areas.

Last Thursday, on the 22nd, there were three complaints, and three more were added that Sunday, all for entering a strictly bathing area. Some were guilty of avoiding a ‘vehicle’ inspection, by beaching them and running off, but officers were able to identify them thanks to the jet-ski registration.
Lastly, a jet ski user was arrested and identified by the Policía Local Police following an argument with a lifeguard. When officers checked his ID, they discovered that he was a wanted man, so he was arrested and brought before a court.

Do you want me to get them to either the Guardia or Policía Local, for example?

Reader’s comment: “Bad enough disturbing swimmers and sea-life in general, but going through a pod of dolphins is inconceivable. Someone who can do that has no empathy with people either.” – Steph
Reader’s comment: “We were down at the beachfront on Saturday afternoon in Salobrena when the relative peace was shattered by 3 or 4 idiots doing doughnuts on their jet skis, by The Peñón. It went on for ages – where were the local Police or Guardi – probably sat on the beach in their budgie snugglers. They need to be caught and heavily fined or it will just get worse.” – Shiner

It went on for ages – where were the local Police or Guardi – probably sat on the beach in their budgie snugglers. They need to be caught and heavily fined or it will just get worse.
