There was an accident between a bus and two cars on the N-340 within the municipality of Salobreña Saturday afternoon.

For reasons unknown to date, the bus first collided with an oncoming car, following moments afterwards with a second car ramming into the back of the bus.

It would appear that only one person was injured but to what extent remains unclear.

The Emergency Coordination Centre (112) sent an ambulance, the traffic police and road-maintenance workers to the scene with the latter clearing parts from the damaged vehicles off the road.
