According to the Spanish news agency, EFE, a middle-aged man lost his life after falling out of a 4th-floor window in Motril.

This occurred last Saturday (15th) within an urbanización on Playa de Poniente. According to the Policía Nacional, who are investigating the death, the man attempted to enter the window of a nextdoor flat after finding himself locked inside his own flat with no keys.

According to his neighbours, this was what he was attempting to do before losing his grip and plunging to his death.

The autopsy confirmed that the cause of death was a fall from a considerable height.
