Almuñécar Town Council awarded leases to bidders yesterday for the four publicly owned business premises.

Three of the said premises are on the Paseo del Altillo: Pub La Sirena and Pub El Torero, and the New Pinball restaurant.

The fourth business is the chiringuito, Las Tres Rejas, next to the Peñón de El Santo, on the San Cristóbal side.

However, the Town Hall couldn’t find anybody interested in taking on a lease for El Soho and La Bodeguita del Mar.

Consequently, the Town Council will consider either offering them out for lease at a lesser amount or hang onto them for municipal use.
