The Guardia Civil discovered 292 marihuana plants in somebody's house in the province of Granada. As Tom Jones would put it, "it's not unusual."
However, what makes this different is because the house belongs to somebody on the PP’s electoral list for Pulianas, near Granada.
The police had searched the dwelling and found the marihuana in a secret room. The couple were informed that they would be investigated but not arrested for the moment.
The women is, or better said was, number six on the Partido Popular‘s list for the elections on the 28th of May. The PP thought it might be better that she relinquished her slot as candidate as a councillor, which is what she did, as soon as news of the discovery broke.
Editorial comment: if she had been a hopeful for the lefties, well… but running for the position of Councillor on the Town Council as a representative of the conservative party? What a pity that she hadn’t been on the far-right, morally elevated, Vox party’s list!
